That’s why we hope you’ll join PPI on The Wharf on Wednesday, September 16, as we unveil our 2026 Investment Heroes report with a presentation by report author Dr. Michael Mandel, PPI Vice President and Chief Economist, and celebrate the 25 companies making the largest investments in America’s economic future.
Together, these companies invested $516 billion this year, a 28% increase over last year. Our Investment Heroes awards recognize their commitment to building, hiring, and expanding here at home.
The program will feature Congressman Josh Harder (D-CA), co-chair of the Building America Caucus; Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (D-VA); Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (D-OR); Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI); David Zapolsky, Chief Global Affairs and Legal Officer for Amazon; and moderator Peter Coy, former Bloomberg Businessweek writer. Additional speakers will be announced.
The speaking program runs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a happy hour reception overlooking the waterfront. The exact location will be provided upon RSVP.
