WEBINAR: Schools That Excelled During the Pandemic: How and Why They Pivoted Effectively to Remote Learning

Feb 24, 2021 | 6:00 pm ET/3:00 pm PT

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 24th at 1 pm EST for a one-hour Zoom webinar on public schools that have effectively made the switch to remote learning.  We will hear from:

  • Diane Tavenner, founder and CEO of Summit Public Schools, a network of charter schools in California and Washington state;
  • Shatoya Ward, Principal of Purdue Polytechnic High School, Edgewood Campus, an “innovation network school” in Indianapolis, Indiana; and
  • Priscila Dilley, Senior Officer of the Leadership Academy Network, a group of six “partnership schools” in Ft. Worth, Texas, overseen by Texas Wesleyan University

All these schools were able to pivot quickly to remote learning, because even those within school districts have been given significant autonomy.  Tune in to learn the keys to their success, what they have learned, and their advice for other public schools and districts.

David Osborne and Tressa Pankovits of the Progressive Policy Institute will moderate. Bring your questions!
