Christina Biedny is a Senior Analyst of Economics + Advisory at AECOM. Christina earned her Ph.D. in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in 2023. Prior to OSU, she completed an M.S. in Agricultural Economics at Michigan State University following two years in Senegal, West Africa, as a community economic development volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps.
Before serving in the Peace Corps, Christina completed an MBA in Finance and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York as a structured finance valuation specialist. Christina plans to combine her interests in finance and economic development to contribute to policy-making agendas both domestically and abroad.
Christina is currently a graduate research assistant focusing on topics such as domestic rural development, the digital divide and broadband internet policies that may improve accessibility in rural parts of the U.S. Previous research included assessing a new agricultural extension model in Tanzania as well as a socio-economic analysis focused on household use of soil fertility management and soil and water conservation practices in rural Niger.
Christina holds an MBA from Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, and a B.A. from Hofstra University.
