Crystal Grant is a Senior Technology Advisor at Federal Trade Commission. Dr. Grant is a graduate of Emory University’s Laney Graduate School where she was a Technology Fellow at ACLU, a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, the president of Laney’s Graduate Student Council, and a teaching assistant for an introductory computer programming course.
After obtaining her Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory, Dr. Grant served as a Mirzayan Graduate Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academy of Sciences. She next served as a Legislative Fellow in Senator Elizabeth Warren’s office through the TechCongress Congressional Innovation Scholars program. Dr. Grant earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Cornell University.
