Gosia Tomaszewska is a Senior Director at Commonwealth. Previously she was the Director of the Innovation Lab that focuses on the design and testing of new, human-centered financial tools that spur savings, improve financial access and create wealth building opportunities for people living on low and moderate incomes. Gosia and her team work closely with fintechs, financial institutions, governments and social impact organizations, among others. Gosia combines nearly 15 years of experience in the field with specific expertise in cross-sector partnership development, capacity building, project management, and stakeholder engagement. She is passionate about collaborating to change and improve systems.
Previously, Gosia worked in the public and nonprofit sectors in financial empowerment and wealth building. She scaled the City of Boston’s children’s savings program, Boston Saves, to include all of the Boston public schools. Gosia holds a graduate certificate in Politics and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, a Master’s degree in European Studies from Jagiellonian University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History from Douglass College of Rutgers University.
