Isabel Ghazal is the Communications and Government Relations Fellow for the Progressive Policy Institute and is from Atlanta, Georgia. Isabel is a sophomore at the George Washington University majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Comparative Political, Economic, and Social Systems and minoring in both French and Journalism. Before joining PPI, Isabel was a research intern on Reverend Warnock’s Senate campaign in Georgia, the deputy campaign manager on a local state house race in Georgia, and a fellow and voter protection team member for the Democratic Party of Georgia during the Senate runoff election in 2020-2021.
