Meek represented Florida’s 17th Congressional District from 2003 to 2011 and served as a member of the House Committees on Armed Services, Ways and Means, the Budget, Homeland Security, and as a U.S. delegate to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. In 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Meek a public delegate to the United Nations General Assembly.
Since leaving Congress, he has built an extensive career in public policy strategy, advising companies and organizations across the healthcare, technology, energy, and financial services sectors.
