Jason is a Senior Fellow for the Progressive Policy Institute’s Financial Services, ESG and Capital Markets Research. He was an executive at S&P Global and a member of the senior leadership team, where he ran thought leadership, and manages a data focused, multi-discipline, international research portfolio supporting the CEO and Chief Economist, among other C-suite executives.
Jason has a well-established record of creating proprietary content that influences business conversations in Washington and Brussels. By bringing his long-standing relationships at the highest levels of government, politics, business, media and academia, his global efforts on pro-growth economic policies in financial and commodity markets had tremendous impact for S&P Global. Previously he was the Progressive Policy Institute’s Senior Fellow for Capital Markets project. He has been involved in banking and federal policy for over twenty-five years.
Mr. Gold has been an adjunct professor for Georgetown University’s graduate real estate program, where he teaches “Capitol Hill and Capital Markets”. He is a frequent industry speaker and was until recently a regular contributor to US News and World Report, and quoted in a number of national publications on economic and markets policy including Forbes, Bloomberg News, Politico, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, CNN and MSNBC among others.
