Ukraine’s defence industry sees several advantages in setting up production in Denmark.
So says Tamar Jacoby, the Kyiv-based director of the Progressive Policy Institute’s New Ukraine Project. She writes regularly about the Ukrainian defence industry for American media and is a frequent expert commentator on the sector.
“Primarily, it’s about security and reducing the risk of being bombed. Most Ukrainian companies have distributed production sites across Ukraine and must hide where they are,” Jacoby says.
