Chris Clarke is a polling and research consultant, with a particular background in qualitative focus groups, data and place, and the role of narrative. He specialises in relating to migration, community cohesion, democratic trust and regional policy. He is the author of The Dark Knight and the Puppet Master (Penguin, 2020) and has worked in politics, across local government, and with think tanks and the third sector.
